PRICELINE Pharmacy is celebrating after raising more than $1.1 million in a single month for its Priceline Sisterhood Foundation.
The record funds raised by the Misterhood for the Sisterhood campaign brings this year's total to more than $4.5 million in support for five charities that help women and their families.
API ceo Richard Vincent said "raising more than $1 million for the Priceline Sisterhood Foundation in a month is a monumental achievement and was only made possible by the hard work and dedication of our store network.
"Our store teams showed exceptional enthusiasm throughout the month and engaged with every customer to help reach this milestone," he said.
The campaign was led by cricketer Merv Hughes who toured the country visiting Priceline Pharmacy Stores to help drive donations.
Hughes was Priceline's first ever 'Mister' and good-naturedly acted as a stand-in Beauty Advisor with his famous "mo" turned glitter pink.
Many pharmacists across the 465-strong network joined in the fun by dyeing their hair, and in addition to store events Priceline Pharmacy sold $2 lucky "Sisterhood Scratchies" with proceeds going to the Foundation.
