HEYDAY Medical has introduced Kakariki Koha, a premium medicinal cannabis product from New Zealand's largest grower, Puro, to the Australian market this week.
The new distribution deal aims to enhance the availability of high-quality therapeutic cannabis products to treat conditions such as chronic pain and anxiety.
Named by the Maori tribal council, Te Runanga o Kaikoura, Kakariki Koha's cannabis products aim to set new standards in purity, natural cultivation, and therapeutic potency.
"Kakariki Koha will be a real game-changer for Australian patients," said Puro CEO Sank Macfarlane, describing it as a unique hybrid with high terpene and THC levels.
"There is nothing else like it in Australia."
Through the partnership, Heyday will offer a full range of Puro's organic THC, CBD, and CBG products, which are cultivated outdoors on a coastal farm and processed using a live-drying technique that preserves plant integrity.
