IMPROVEMENTS are needed in the level of contraceptive care provided to teenagers in regional and rural areas, a new study from Monash University has found.
The study interviewed 18 GPs, who agreed higher rates of teenage pregnancy in their region were related to limited knowledge of and access to contraception, along with high costs and limited providers.
