THE SHPA Residency Program has swelled dramatically this year, with a 59% growth in total number of Foundation Residents and the program embedded in 33 sites across the country.
The program provides an "evidence-based framework for essential experiential learning for early career hospital pharmacists," according to SHPA ceo Kristin Michaels, working in areas such as cardiology, geriatric medicine, infectious disease & mental health.
The upcoming SHPA Residency Symposium on 27 Aug will also unveil details of the second-phase Advanced Training Residencies.
