THE Royal Australian College of GPs is pressing the Federal Government to streamline the 'Hospital in the Home' program to better serve patients and reduce GP confusion.
President Dr Nicole Higgins highlighted issues like inconsistent policies and confusing billing practices that complicate the process of the acute care program.

Higgins also wants the gov't to rectify the funding and cost issues to "prevent patients from slipping through the cracks of the health system".
