RAVEN'S Recruitment is excited to announce a partnership with the Pharmacists' Support Service (PSS) for the 2025 Pharmacy Careers Summit on 04 Jul 2025.
Building on the success of PCS24, this collaboration aims to enhance awareness and drive attendance among pharmacy students from universities across Australia.
Alan Sutton, Director of Raven's Recruitment, emphasised the importance of expanding the summit's reach.
"We had over 460 pharmacy students register for PCS24, and the feedback was fantastic," he said.
"However, we know that some students missed out on this unique opportunity to connect with Australia's leading pharmacy employers," he added.
"Partnering with the PSS allows us to connect with even more students by further increasing awareness, ensuring they have every chance to participate and start building their pharmacy careers."
PSS Executive Officer, Kay Dunkley, said the service was pleased to be partnering with Raven's to help raise awareness of the summit.
"For pharmacy students, engagement with the pharmacy profession through events like PCS25 is a great opportunity to prepare for their career ahead.
"Students who are well informed and have developed networks in pharmacy are going to have an easier transition from university into the pharmacy workplace," she said, noting that talking to experienced pharmacy practitioners is a great way for students to discover career pathways and understand their options.
"It is never too early to begin researching opportunities and to explore employment as a student and as an intern," she added.
"We also value the financial support being provided by Raven's through this partnership and we look forward to meeting lots of pharmacy students during the live PCS25 event on Fri 04 July."
As part of their commitment to supporting the PSS's charitable work, Raven's Recruitment will make a donation to the PSS for every pharmacy student who attends the live day.
Next year's summit includes several new activities to boost student engagement, such as a leaderboard for visiting booths and some great giveaways.
"There is also an opportunity for exhibitors to get involved in interactive sessions with students, like mastering CVs and interviews," said event director Emmy Burrell.
"We are introducing more panel discussions, providing healthcare brands with a platform to share how they are supporting pharmacists and making their roles easier," Burrell added.
"PCS25 is set to be an inspiring and impactful event for everyone involved," she said.
PCS24 attracted almost 2,000 attendees, with 30 exhibitor booths and 37 speakers.
The virtual Pharmacy Careers Summit 2025 will take place live on 04 Jul 2025 with the support of PSS, and major sponsors The Pharmacy Guild of Australia, Symbion and the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia.
