THE Therapeutic Goods Administration yesterday issued warnings about three non-approved products, all of which contain undeclared prescription-only substances.
The affected items include Liangzern Dietary Supplements (pictured above) which contain sildenafil.
Sildenafil is also an undeclared ingredient in Germany Nubian Tablets (left) as well as Rhino 8 Platinum 8000 capsules (below).
The TGA says the supply of all three products is illegal in Australia.
None of them have been "assessed by the TGA for quality, safety or efficacy as required under Australian legislation, and the place of manufacture is not approved by the TGA".
Investigations have shown that a number of people in Australia may have bought the products online.
Consumers are being advised to stop taking the products and return any remaining capsules or tablets to their local pharmacy for disposal.
